Alert Management
SERP360 monitors ranking and conversion performance around the clock—surfacing problems and opportunities before they become emergencies.
Quick start
1. Select a Domain and Project
2. Enable SEO Alerts or Conversion Alerts (or both)
3. Choose the alert categories to track
4. Select a Search Group for SEO alerts
5. Preferences save automatically—alerts start generating daily
Understanding the display

The Alert Manager organises monitoring into two accordions:
• SEO Monitoring tracks ranking changes, competitor movements, and growth opportunities
• Conversion Monitoring tracks conversion rate shifts, funnel health, and revenue performance
Each accordion contains a master toggle and individual alert category toggles. Green toggles indicate active monitoring. Grey toggles indicate inactive monitoring.
SEO alert categories

| Category | What it monitors |
| Ranking Emergencies | Podium drops (1–3 → 4+), category-wide crashes, visibility declines |
| Slow Declines | Page-1 drifters, 30-day cumulative losses, category erosion |
| Growth Opportunities | Striking distance keywords, new top-10 entries, rising categories |
| Competitor Threats | Competitor share-of-voice gains, daily keyword overtakes |
Conversion alert categories

Conversion alerts require active conversion paths. Configure these in Manage Conversions before enabling.
| Category | What it monitors |
| Conversion Emergencies | CVR drops, zero conversions, daily conversion lows |
| Traffic Source Performance | Source-specific CVR shifts, device gap changes |
| Funnel Health | Unexplained CVR drops, step rate changes, landing page performance |
| Revenue Performance | Revenue per session shifts, average order value changes |
| Traffic Patterns | Traffic spikes or dips with CVR correlation |
What should I do next?
| Situation | Action |
| First time setting up | Enable all SEO categories. Review alerts after one week. Disable noisy categories. |
| Too many alerts | Narrow to a specific search group. Disable lower-priority categories. |
| No alerts appearing | Verify at least one category is enabled. Check search group selection. Wait 24 hours for data. |
| Conversion alerts greyed out | Create conversion paths first in Manage Conversions. |
| Want AI-powered recommendations | Enable SEO AI Analysis toggle. AI analysis runs automatically on qualifying alerts. |
Viewing alerts

Alerts appear on the dashboard in the Recent Alerts panel. The panel displays today's alerts, sorted by priority. Each alert card shows:
• Title — The alert type and affected keyword or category
• Description — Key details about the change
• Metrics — Position changes, percentages, affected keywords
• Keywords — Top affected keywords by search volume
Click an alert card to expand it. Click + Add to Kanban to create a task from the alert.
Workspace sharing
Alert preferences are shared across a workspace. When one team member configures alerts for a project, all workspace members see the same settings and receive the same alerts. Changes made by any member apply to everyone.

FAQ
How often do alerts generate?
Alerts generate once daily. The system analyses the previous day's ranking and conversion data.
What determines alert priority?
SERP360 scores alerts based on search volume, position gap size, and the breadth of impact. High-priority alerts involve high-volume keywords or widespread ranking changes.
Do alerts repeat for the same issue?
SERP360 uses debounce periods to prevent duplicate alerts. The same issue surfaces again only after the debounce period expires—typically three to 14 days depending on alert type.
Can different projects have different alert settings?
Yes. Each project maintains its own alert configuration. Select a different project to configure its alerts independently.
