AI Overviews
AI Overviews lists the tracked keywords whose search results include an AI-generated summary, and shows which websites those summaries cite.
What you can do
See which keywords trigger an AI Overview, read each overview, check whether it cites your website and identify the most-cited sources.
The section loads when you scroll near it.
The headline figure, Keywords with an AI Overview, counts the keywords listed. It reflects any search entered in Filter keywords.
Which results are used
For each keyword, the section uses the latest ranking result on or before the end of the selected date range. Only the end date affects this section.
The selected market, category and search engine also apply. A category selection uses each keyword's current category.
Review the AI Overviews tab

Keywords citing your website are listed first, then the most recently captured.
The figure above the table, for example 0 cite your website, counts the listed overviews that cite your website.
Type in Filter keywords to search the list; results update as you type. Rows per page is 10 by default.
When your website counts as cited
An overview counts as citing your website when one of its sources uses your website's domain, with or without www. Citations from other subdomains are not counted.
Read an overview
Select the arrow on a row to expand it.
Each section shows its title, or Section 1, Section 2 and so on, followed by its content. The sources cited in that section appear beneath it.
Each source link shows the source's ranked position and name, for example #6 ยท Larry's Coffee. Select a link to open the source in a new tab.
Overview sources lists sources cited by the overview as a whole rather than by one section.
Select the arrow again to collapse the row.
Review top sources
Select Top sources to see a bar chart of the most-cited domains. The chart loads when you first open the tab.
Each bar shows how many citations a domain received across the AI Overviews in scope. Every citation counts, so a domain cited several times in one overview is counted each time. The bars therefore show citations, not keywords or overviews.
The chart shows up to 12 domains, ordered by citation count. Domains with the same count are listed alphabetically, so where several domains share the count at the cut-off, those later in the alphabet are left out.
A search in Filter keywords does not affect this chart.
Show one keyword's sources
Choose a keyword from Keyword to see the sources for that keyword only. The list contains only keywords with an AI Overview. Choose All AI Overview keywords to return to every keyword.
The chart reloads when you change the keyword or the dashboard filters. Unlike Current SERP features, this chart has no menu for downloading or printing.
Use AI Overviews
- A keyword with an overview but Not cited is a candidate for clearer, better-supported content.
- Top sources shows which websites the overviews already trust for your topics.
- Expand an overview to see which sections cite competitors and what they cover.
AI Overviews in exports
The Excel export includes an AI Overviews sheet, with the capture time, section and source counts, citation status and summary for each keyword, and an AI Overview sources sheet listing cited domains.
Troubleshooting
No AI Overviews were found in the latest results for this selection
No tracked keyword in this market, category and search engine has an AI Overview in its latest result on or before the end date.
My website is shown as Not cited although it appears in the sources
The citation uses a subdomain of your website, which is not counted.
No cited sources were found for this selection
The listed overviews cite no sources, or the selected keyword has no cited sources.
This AI Overview is not available for the selected filters
A newer ranking result replaced this overview, or the filters changed after the table loaded. Refresh the page and expand the row again.

Refresh the page and expand the row again.
