AI Visibility Dashboard

The AI Visibility Dashboard shows how your organisation appears in monitored answers from AI platforms. Use it to compare visibility, recommendations, sentiment, citations and competitors across audiences and stages of the customer journey.

Open the dashboard

Open AI Visibility Dashboard and select a Project. The project needs at least one AI Visibility tracking configuration with processed results. Add the names that represent your organisation under Configure before interpreting brand-specific measures.

Set the dashboard scope

The controls at the top apply to the dashboard modules:

Control What it changes
Project Selects the project, tracking configurations and AI Visibility settings.
Date Range Selects a preset period or custom inclusive dates.
Journey Phase Shows all questions or only Awareness, Consideration or Decision questions.
Configuration Shows all tracking configurations or one audience and question set.
Platform Shows all monitored AI platforms or one platform.
Provider Position Includes a saved brand anywhere in the provider list, in the top three, or at number one.

Changing a control refreshes the relevant modules. A module can also have its own controls, such as Citation Position, Conversation Scope, Scope or View.

Provider Position is applied by the visibility, Share of Voice, Key Item,

sentiment and Citation Rate calculations. The current Competitive Win Rate,

Conversations, Top Cited Conversations, Top Cited Pages and Citation Sources

modules do not apply it.

Use the dashboard modules

The dashboard is arranged in this order:

  1. Performance overview summarises six current-period measures and compares them with the preceding equivalent period.
  2. Customer Journey Phase Progression compares brand visibility across Awareness, Consideration and Decision.
  3. Share of Voice compares appearances by Your Brands with the selected comparison brands.
  4. Competitive Win Rate measures head-to-head ranking results against competitors.
  5. Key Item Tracker shows how often monitored brand appearances include selected products, features or messages.
  6. Conversations ranks monitored questions by brand visibility. Use Best first or Worst first.
  7. Top Cited Conversations ranks questions by answer citations.
  8. Top Cited Pages ranks resolved pages cited in monitored answers.
  9. Citation Sources groups citations by relationship, organisation type or page type.
  10. Conversation Sentiment Analysis shows the sentiment assigned to Your Brands.
  11. Citation Rate Analysis shows how often qualifying brand appearances have citations attached.

The four table modules share one tabbed area. Select Conversations, Top Cited Conversations, Top Cited Pages or Citation Sources to change the table or chart shown there.

Configure brands and competitors

Select Configure to open AI Visibility Settings for the selected project. Add the names that count as Your Brands and choose up to eight competitor companies under Default Competitors. A competitor company can contain several observed name variants while using one competitor slot.

Settings changes can alter historical dashboard results because stored responses are interpreted using the current brand and competitor grouping. They do not rewrite the original AI answers.

Export a report

Use Export report when you want to share, review or work with the results outside the dashboard. The export uses the dashboard data already loaded for the current global filters. It does not run the monitoring again.

  1. Set the required Project, Date Range, Journey Phase, Configuration, Platform and Provider Position.
  2. Select Export report.
  3. Check the values under Report scope. To change them, close the panel and change the dashboard filters.
  4. Under Comparison, select Previous equivalent period or No comparison.
  5. Under Format, choose the type of file you need.
  6. Select Download report. The button shows Preparing… while the file is created, followed by Your report download has started.

The downloaded filename contains the selected start and end dates, for example ai-visibility-report-2026-08-21-to-2026-09-18.xlsx .

Choose a comparison

Previous equivalent period compares the selected date range with the immediately preceding period of the same length. The comparison is included for the six headline measures and persona results. Competitor, breakdown, source and conversation sections continue to show the selected period only.

Choose No comparison when you only need the selected period.

Choose an export format

Format What it contains Best for
Excel performance report A formatted workbook covering headline results, personas, competitors, breakdowns, sources, conversations, scope and definitions. Sharing a readable report or carrying out a wider review.
KPI data (CSV) The six headline measures and their supporting counts. If comparison is selected, it also includes the previous result, percentage-point change and comparison notes. Analysing or importing the headline measures.
Dashboard results (CSV) Calculated current-period measures and breakdowns from the dashboard snapshot, arranged as rows. Importing dashboard results into another data or reporting tool.

The Dashboard results (CSV) is a results export rather than a download of every raw AI answer or every daily chart point.

Understand the Excel performance report

The workbook contains seven worksheets:

Worksheet Contents
Summary Report scope, the six headline measures, supporting counts, definitions and any selected previous-period comparison.
Personas Performance by tracking configuration or persona, including a previous-period comparison when selected.
Competitors Share of Voice and Competitive Win Rate results, with appearances and encounter outcomes.
Breakdowns Customer journey, sentiment, Citation Rate and Key Item Tracker results.
Sources Citation Source views and Top Cited Pages.
Conversations Best and worst visible conversations and Top Cited Conversations.
Scope & definitions The filters, coverage information, measure definitions and interpretation notes used in the report.

The report scope comes from the global dashboard filters. Module controls are not shown as report-scope choices. For the cited-page and cited-conversation sections, the workbook uses the standard All Citations or All Cited Conversations view with Any Citation. The Sources worksheet includes the available Citation Sources views.

The report does not include a generated Analyse with AI narrative or saved annotations. Open a conversation from the dashboard when you need to inspect its original answer.

The Performance overview also offers Export KPI data. Use it for a quick download of the six headline measures. Use the global Export report when you need to choose a comparison or download the wider workbook or dashboard-results CSV.

If an export does not download

  • If the panel says Preparing the current dashboard data for export…, wait for the dashboard data to finish loading.
  • If you see The report data could not be loaded, refresh the page, check the filters and try again.
  • If you see The report could not be created, refresh the page and repeat the export.
  • If the file contains less data than expected, close the panel and check the global filters. A blank or unmeasured dashboard result cannot be added by the export.

Analyse results with AI

Select Analyse with AI to open the AI Visibility analysis drawer. Choose one persona or All personas, check the platform, journey stage, Provider depth and period, then choose Standard or Enhanced.

Standard analyses the available monitoring data and saved evidence. Enhanced starts with the Standard report, then can research up to two useful unanswered questions and refine its recommendations; additional credits apply. The work continues on the server if you close the drawer or leave the page.

Completed reports are saved under Recent. From a saved report you can use Chat, export the report as text, add a recommendation to the Action Board or delete the report. The analysis can also include Claims and Evidence from the latest matching published Claims Verification inventory and a separate view of tracked USP visibility.

The analysis is a separate generated report. It does not change the dashboard data and is not included in the dashboard's Export report workbook or CSV files. See AI Visibility Analysis for eligibility, date differences, saved-report retention and report sections.

Add context with annotations

The dated Customer Journey, Share of Voice, Competitive Win Rate, Key Item, Sentiment and Citation Rate charts can display saved annotations. Select a date on a supported chart to record a short note about a launch, settings change, campaign or other event that may help explain the trend.

Annotations provide context only. They do not alter monitoring answers or calculations, and the dashboard export does not include them.

Understand dates and missing data

Monitoring runs on the processing days saved in each tracking configuration. The dashboard is not real time, and the newest scheduled date can remain incomplete while responses are collected and processed.

Dashboard preset periods use UTC calendar dates and include today. A custom dashboard range can contain up to 366 inclusive days and cannot include a future date. AI Visibility Analysis uses complete days ending yesterday and has a separate 180-day custom limit, so compare the exact displayed dates rather than relying only on a preset name.

A zero and no observation are different. Zero means eligible responses existed but none met the measured condition. A blank, dash or missing date usually means no eligible processed response matched the current filters.

Provider calls can be retried. Dashboard modules use the newest processed response for the same configuration, question, platform and monitoring date so retries do not create duplicate observations.

If something does not look right

  • Confirm the correct Project, Date Range and Configuration are selected.
  • Return Journey Phase, Platform and Provider Position to their broadest choices to check whether a filter is excluding the data.
  • Open Configure and confirm the required names are under Your Brands and the intended companies are under Default Competitors.
  • Allow the latest monitoring and processing cycle to finish before judging the newest date.
  • If a citation source is unresolved or still being classified, it can appear separately or move category after enrichment completes.
  • Use the dedicated module guide when two reports differ. The modules use different populations and denominators, so their percentages are not expected to match.

Use Manage AI Visibility Tracking to change audiences, questions, platforms and processing days. Use AI Visibility Settings to change brand and competitor grouping. Each dashboard module has its own guide explaining its calculation, controls and troubleshooting.
